Skate 4 Life...

Bobby Asato created this shirt with Kenny Brimer in mind both visually and as a benefit shirt to continue raising funds and awareness for Kenny’s diagnosed leukemia.

The raised-arm graphic is a sketch and rendition of Kenny’s forearm tattoo.

Buy one of these shirts and know that you’re helping Kenny directly in Hawaii as all proceeds will go to pay for his medical treatments/bills.

Thanks to Bland and APB for creating this…

$27 total includes shipping in the US for a shirt benefiting a friend.

Mele Kalikimaka & Deck The Halls

My good friend, Gene Dadoy gifted me with a plane ticket to Hawaii to surprise Kenny Brimer for the , “Deck The Halls” benefit that the fine folks from Lightsleepers threw, in Kenny’s honor.

It was heartwarming to see Kenny and to attend an event dedicated to help raise awareness and funds for his diagnosed leukemia. A good turnout came to support on that warm, Friday, December 11th evening in Chinatown, Hawaii.

In addition, we got a bit of skate-time in with the old crew between the daily gatherings and parties.

Thanks to everyone for their hospitality.

Special mahalo’s to Gene Dadoy and Rob Hechtman’s families for all the ono food and for opening-up their homes.

DECEMBER 24TH:
I went to the doctor today and it was my best visit yet. At my last visit my doc told me that my lymphocytes were at 60%. Lymphocytes are the leukemia cells. Now, it’s down to 10%.

We also went to Eighty Four Skate Co. since they made Kenny’s, “For The Love Of Life And Skateboarding” decks

I purchased one and had it signed. You should as well since portions of the sale of this deck goes to support Kenny. In addition, shirts are available through their site.
