Spike Jonze's 1980's BMX Redux
Spike Jonze discarded a BMX bike frame in the late 80’s in a Torrance, California parking lot. The frame was saved over the years and ended-up with Ben Ward, a designer at Odyssey BMX. Ben re-built Spike’s bike to perfect 1989 specs. It’s based on a photo from Freestylin’ Mag of Spike shredding in a contest in La Jolla.
Thanks Ben and Spike for the photos.
