Ian Johnson & Albert Reyes @ White Walls, San Francisco

Opening reception for Ian Johnson and Albert Reyes is Saturday, February 9, 2008 @ White Walls in San Francisco.

I was lucky to view a few pieces from Ian and I must say, he’s taking an ideal path of refinement with each show he presents his artwork.

Hi Shredability @ VBS.TV w/ Tyler Manson

I finally gave myself a time-window to watch HI SHREDABILITY on VBS.TV since I’m a big fan of Tyler Manson’s video work. He’s a good guy and the reason why I would visit Mollusk Surf Shop in San Francisco while he worked there prior to commanding his very own show. While watching his surf trip to Montauk in New York, I noticed his board was setup with the Solitary Arts Drifters wheels. Stoked… Oh, and the term HI SHREDABILITY came from none other than our friend Rip from Japan. Word.

Tommy Guerrero & The Big Red

Went to visit Tommy Guerrero today at the DLX office while he signed limited quantities of his out of print 12” vinyl record, “Gettin’It Together” (cover art by Stephen Powers), and noticed the Solitary Arts Big Red next to his desk after taking this photo.
